What can you expect from Michael?
“For an Accountant, he is very entrepreneurial”, said a client in a back handed complementary sort of way. And so he is. Michael is an exceptional accountant with strong entrepreneurial talent. He brings a wealth of expertise at creating and implementing strategies for financial health, raising finance, profit improvement, asset protection and tax mitigation. He works tirelessly at building great teams and business strategies and has helped hundreds of business owners build their own financial health and prosperity during his 25 year career. Michael’s knowledge is not only based on a great understanding of strategy, people, finance, law and tax, but also in real life experience in owning, operating and leading a number of growing businesses.
Clients sometime refer to Michael as a “Solomon” for his wisdom, knowledge and pragmatic advice. He is particularly focussed on building prosperous SME’s often from a starting point of major financial problems and difficulties. As a second generation Fitch in the Practice, he has learned to handle succession issues in family businesses first hand. Under his leadership the Practice has more than doubled in size, has developed high quality client focussed processes and systems, has built a highly skilled team and been awarded Investors in People in 2013.

Numerous Charities have also fallen under his remit for that period and, of course, this comes from the “old days”, when accountants had to be able to do everything unlike the specialisation that occurs today.
Most of the clients have grown up with him, and newer ones have also come to appreciate this young at heart accountant, leading them through the financial minefields.

Chris enjoys socializing with friends on a good night out, and up to recently, football was his passion (unfortunately it`s all spirit and no body now). He is a keen gardener, likes remodelling it, and is also into reading, music, model railways and photography. Thinking about keep-fit, nowadays, would also be high on his activities list.
