A transparent fee policy, no charge for ad-hoc meetings and phone calls
One of the most frequent complaints made against accountancy firms by clients is not being made aware, in advance, of the fees to be charged. And there’s nothing like an unexpected fee note to sour a relationship!
That’s why, when it comes to fees, you’ll find we’re completely transparent. Most of the work we do is covered by our Fixed Fee Policy and our ‘No Surprise’ Guarantee means you can rely on the quote we give you – 100%. Of course, if you ask us to provide other services outside our fixed price agreement we’ll be happy to agree a price with you in advance of the work starting. We don’t think it’s fair to charge you on a time basis for the work we do, so we’ll always try to agree things in advance. Sometimes, it’s unavoidable – if you are subject to a lengthy enquiry by HMRC, for example (talk to us about insurance to cover this) but we will always keep you informed on time and costs.
You can also benefit from a variety of payment methods available including credit/debit card, direct debit and standing order options to help you manage your cashflow to suit you and your business.
Access the entire team, when you need them
We also understand how annoying it is to be charged for our time on the phone or in meetings. There’s nothing worse than knowing the clock is ticking when you want a simple piece of ad hoc advice. That’s why you get access to the entire team at Fitch – at any time - for general advice and information without any additional charge. Of course if we arrange a meeting or conference call to discuss or review a new element of work on your behalf, we’ll always advise you in advance if it is chargeable.
